INTRODUCTION

A  story  is  a  description  of  events  in  someone’s  life  or  in  the  development  of  something.  It  is imaginary or real people events told for entertainment.

DEVELOPMENT/PRESENTATION

INTRODUCTION

Organisms which cannot be seen with naked eye are called microorganisms. Micro means small and organism means living things. Organisms composed of only one cell are called unicellular while that of more than one cells are called multicellular organisms. Some microorganisms are beneficial and some are harmful. 

DEVELOPMENT/PRESENTATION/ACTIVITY  Activity 1

Show slide specimen to students and ask them to see with naked eye. Then show them under microscope. Tell the students that microorganisms are not seen with naked eye. Make simple drawings of virus and bacterium on the board. 

Activity 2

Place a wet slice of bread and leave it for a few days then ask students to observe it. Tell students that some microorganisms can spoil the food.

 

 

RECAP

Teacher will summarize the whole lesson in few minutes that some organisms cannot be seen with naked eye and they are both beneficial and harmful. Ask students to write the differences between unicellular and multicellular organisms with examples

ASSESSMENT/EVALUATION
